Tim Manson has been working with Tutapona for five years. Initially starting as a volunteer out of the Nakivale field office, he now works as Country Director overseeing all Uganda offices. He enjoys regularly visiting the field offices to see the impact firsthand, but in the field of mental health support it can be hard to measure change. Tim shares his heart as he saw clear results of emotional healing on one of his recent visits.

Our Field communications volunteer Julia moved out to Kurdistan in September coming from Minnesota. She had an idea of what it means to be cold, but Winter here means something very different. Through firsthand experience, she has bared witness to all the challenges this cold season brings to the hundreds of thousands of people living in refugee camps here as well as all the ways people endure through it, with love and hope.
